After a while, it seemed like a dream come true in more than one way. Talia may have been in her mid-40s when she gave birth to their first (and only) child, Aria, but that didn't stop the two of them from falling madly in love with their daughter. Maybe they hadn't wanted her at first, but once she was in their world, it was almost as if nothing could have gone wrong with them. As she grew up, they doted upon her, gave her every little thing that she could have ever wanted, even had given her the best education options for so long. They had everything they could possibly give her, wanted her to follow in their footsteps and take over the "family empire" one day when her father was no longer able to, something that eventually Aria would realize wasn't something she wanted, but it wouldn't come out for such a long time. After all, when this dream was made for her, Aria had only been a mere eight year old girl with braids in her hair that still played outside and who had absolutely no cares in the entire world. That didn't change, though, even after a few years had passed. She just wanted to do her school work and play with her friends - that seemed like such a better idea than anything else! Education, above all, would eventually become the one thing that she wanted to hold to herself more than anything else.
When she was sixteen years old, however, her family moved from Australia to America for her father, who was growing older by the day, to take on a bigger role at the company that he had been working for back in Australia. It wasn't something that the family took lightly, and it was something that they didn't truly and fully want to do, but it ended up being something that they knew they had to do, simply because they wanted to give their daughter even more opportunities and, in so many ways, wasn't America a place that they could do that? She was a teenager and getting more education, but she had secretly been wishing and wanting to attend university in America anyway, not wanting to go anywhere else. It wasn't the ideal choice, but her family had gone along with it, wanting her to have every single opportunity that she could have, something that they had always done for her, and something that they would always do for her. And, if that was move to another country to help her further her dreams, they weren't going to stand in her way of that. What kind of parent would?!
So, they made the move with their daughter en tow, so that they could make her life as perfect as they ever could. She wanted to go to college and get an education, and all the money in the world wouldn't keep that from happening. The thing was, there came a realization that Aria didn't want to do what her father wanted her to do, for her to take over the reigns with everything that he did. But that was okay, it was something that he wasn't going to hold from her, after all what kind of girl wanted to work with computers and give her life away with that? Not many, at least not at that point in time anyway. She would eventually change her mind and go to Becker College and receive her bachelors degree in graphic design, but it wouldn't be long after when she would make a huge change in her life. For the longest time, Aria had wanted nothing more than to design fashion. For as long as she could remember, she had always been interested in the design aspect of everything. She'd always been an artist, for as long as she could remember. There had been a time in her life that she had carried a drawing pad around in her bag so that, whenever the inspiration arose, she could whip it out and draw what she wanted and what she saw. She'd just always seen the magic in everything.
And in that, she knew that she wanted to design something. Art was her forte, and always had been. She'd considered going through the ins and outs of going back to school since her parents always pushed her to do the things that she wanted to do, but a part of her didn't really want to do that. She didn't want to put her family through that hardship, despite it not really being a hardship at all. In fact, she knew that she wanted to take the plunge; and, with talking to her mother for weeks on end, Aria had decided to take the dive and to take the spot at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in their fashion design department. It was worth it. Through all the time and effort that she had pushed herself through, Aria found that, after the four years at MassArt, she had finally found her calling. She had to, of course, continue with the graphic (and sometimes web) designing jobs that she took on so that she would be able to afford a place to stay and be able to keep herself afloat, but for the last five years, Aria had been designing her own clothing from her home and selling it out of it too. It was her calling, her one true calling in life. And, after everything, Aria had always, in her entire life, been true to herself and the things that she wanted.
